I’ve helped care of family dogs most of my life. Bichon, Dane, Husky, with other miniatures here and there. I helped raise husky ups over the pandemic. From the day they were born, to weaning-off mom, and to adoption. They’re all in happy forever homes ❤️ I love dogs, and always have

Last year, Kevin and I helped raise a litter of 5 husky-shepherd puppies from birth to adoption, along with their mother. Kevin was an excellent partner in caring for the litter, making sure they had ample enrichment and exercise as well as a regular feeding schedule. We potty trained the last of the litter and cared for the mother in her recovery from her pregnancy before she was adopted by our friends. Kevin was careful to modulate the mother's walks in accordance with her recovery from a post-pregnancy spay, taking small steps to get back to walks to the park over the months before her adoption. I was a Rover sitter before I took on my current full-time job, and Kevin was exceptional assistance whenever I had an errand or urgent task come up. I have full confidence in his adoration of animals and attention to detail in care for your pet!
Every time I leave town with my family, I always look to Kevin to take care of my two pups. He cares about them as if they were his own fur babies. I always receive daily updates from him with pictures where they look so happy. He goes above and beyond. Knowing he is caring for our pups, always makes leaving town a bit easier. Thanks Kevin!

Other than explicit instruction from dog parents, I would add some play and much attention. Unless it’s a senior who needs pets more than play. No loud noises, I tend to be more mindful of how I open and close things.

In addition to any food, medicines, toys, and other items, please let me know any behaviors, triggers, and traumas to be watchful for with your pup. Even preferred and non-preferred scratching areas would be good information!
A typical day
Other than following feeding and walk schedules made by the parent, I would be exercising the dog based on its breed and size, and adding at least 30 to 60 minutes of toys or fetch.

For now, I’m completely free! Week and weekend days I’m pretty available, especially outside of early morning and late evenings. This may change in the future.
