Dog loving family!
Pet care experience
We are a dog and bunny loving family, however our bunny recently passed away. Our kids (17 and 13 years old girls) have been growing up with pets. I work from home part-time so your dog will always have someone to be with. We also have an awesome and very laid back dog named Bailey ( Bernadoodle). With the dogs we watch, we take walks in the neighbourhood in the morning, at lunch and again when my children get home from school. We have a fenced backyard that the dogs love. We love connecting with and playing with all dogs. Our kids are also very used to having dogs around and love spending time hanging out with them. We left our dog with someone for the first time while on a one month vacation overseas. Kevin and Shiela lived up to the previous reviews we had based our selection of them on - took her for plenty of walks, sent regular photos and videos on the walks and around their home, and obviously cared for her like their own. Would highly recommend them.
We were pleased with the overnight experience Beau had in October. So when we booked a one week stay in Mexico in January we decided Kevin & Shiela's would be an ideal home stay for Beau. Since October this family has adopted a Bernedoodle. To put our minds at ease they allowed us to bring Beau to make sure this would be a compatible fit. Drop off went very smoothly. Kevin & Shiela were attentive to information & instructions we left about Beau. During our vacation we received daily photos or little video clip which was reassuring and we really appreciated it. Pick up also went smoothly. We were in contact with them about when we would arrive for Beau and everything was ready to go. All in all, a good experience for Beau and for us :)

We have a large fenced yard that dogs love and our kids are also very used to having dogs around. Shiela is a teacher and she is very active and loves walking the dogs as well. We do not believe in leaving any dog in our care home alone. You are paying to have your bestie cared for and that's what we do the whole time they are here! Does your dog love snuggles at night? Our 17 year old daughter will take care of that too!

A typical day
Shiela walks the dogs at 6:30 am usually and Kevin usually walks the dogs during lunch break for a half hour to 40mins and another one at 4:30 pm or so. We walk again in the evening and one at night before we go to bed. We like walking in the forest at Bose wood where it is cool on their paws. They have access to our yard to play at all times when home. The dogs sleep on our couch or on the floor.

Availability
Bailey is a super friendly and loving dog. We also have a free range rabbit named Cookie. She has places to go in the house and yard if your pooch becomes "too interested". She knows how to take care of herself around dogs. We like walks in the morning and live close to many treed areas at Bose farms. At lunch we walk again and in the evenings. If your dog is good off leash with recall we know close places for that too! We like walking dogs in our neighbourhood. It's a great area to live.
