I have lived in Campton Hills for over 35-years near Campton Forest Preserve. Most of that time a dog and/or cat have been part of my family. They have all been treasured, appreciated and well cared for. Long walks in the Forest Preserve with the dogs are favorite times along with reading or watching TV with a cat in my lap. Noticing variations in temperament and apatite to recognize that a pet is in distress, has helped me judge when it is time to check the internet for information on what the problem and solutions may be. Getting to know a pets' social skills with people and other pets has been an important and on-going learning adventure, I never assume that another pet or animal is friendly.
