Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of my family pets since I was a kid. I adopted Jack at 8 months old and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We’ve been on many moves throughout the country and he is my forever travel buddy. When I got married, my wife and I adopted Pico. Both of them are super smart, being an Aussie and a BC, and lots of training and attention are needed. We have trained them from walks on the leash, tricks, potty training, you name it. Currently thinking about agility training for Pico and maybe Therapy dog training for Jack.
Reviews
Great communication and pictures! Griffey had an awesome time with Kevin!
Kevin was fantastic! He arrived early and showered my fur baby with love. He made sure to have all of his favorite treats on hand. I would not hesitate to hire him again. If you're unsure, let this review be confirmation that Kevin is top-notch. I felt at ease leaving my pet in his care.
Kevin is timely , responsible and kind. We were out of town with our two Vizslas (one an eight month old) and felt perfectly safe with Kevin caring for them in our hotel room and out walking g in SF. And our dogs loved him.
Kevin was great! He sat with my senior boy for an extended evening while I was away and he was very communicative and attentive of his needs. My boy was having a hard time with me being away and I felt reassured that Kevin was there taking care of him. Thanks Kevin!

My own two pets get daily walks themselves either by me, my wife, or both. My wife works at home, so she takes care of them during the day. However, I give them walks every morning, feed them, water them, make sure they take any medication, brush them (Jack needs a lot of brushing), give them baths, snuggle them on the couch or the bed and really treat them like family. I train my dogs to walk on the leash correctly with commands and can assess situations where if one of my dogs is nervous or anxious, can avoid that situation at all cost.
Information Kevin D. would like to know about your pet
How old the dog is, whether a puppy or a senior dog especially. What type of dog determines a general activity level. Any special needs or instructions for feeding or medicine. Feeding schedule, potty break times, and if they can have treats, etc…
A typical day
I love taking dogs, especially mine, to walk around the neighborhood and to experience all sorts of sights and smells. If they’re not into walks or need more activity, puzzle games are really fun involving treats they need to find.

Availability
As my wife and I just moved back to Maryland, my schedule is wide open. As I am searching for a job here in Maryland, I am not available to do overnights for house sitting, but I can visit them up to 4 times in a day (saving you money with me if you book as a sitting and not drop-ins). The maximum I can do is a week for a house sit. For my calendar in Rover, I know my schedule about a month out, but that is the maximum. At this time, I cannot commit to any requests longer than a month out. Thank you for understanding.
