Flexible schedule from a dog lover!

Pet care experience

I am new to dog sitting (for other's dogs), but I have been preparing to take good care of boarding dogs! My basic guideline is to keep the same routine/behavior that your dog has been following in your home. When I was born a long time ago, my parents got one puppy to company me. I was growing up with dogs! Because now we don't have one, I want to turn this part-time job to fulfill my dream of having dogs surrounding me again! All our family members are fully vaccinated for Covid except our 10 years old daughter.

Kevin and Erica took such excellent care of my dog over four days. They were in regular touch about how she was doing which was really nice for her first time with them. I couldn’t be happier with the care she received and I will ask for their services for sure going forward.

Kevin and his lovely wife took great care of my little Teddy. I had a couple of changes to my trip itinerary (and therefore drop-off and pick-up times) and they were very accommodating about that, too. This was Teddy's first time with Kevin but I think we'll be regular customers!

Kevin and his family were amazing and caring. I know my dog felt comfortable with them from the first moment. Would highly recommend them!

Safety, trust & environment

I live I a single house, and the house has a huge untended backyard. The nearby environment is safe for dogs to walk around. My single house also provides enough indoor space for dogs to explore around. I won't train the dog any new commands during their stay but will only use the commands they already learned.

Information Kevin C. would like to know about your pet

- The general ideas about food, potty, and sleep behavior. - The commands she/he can understand. I won't train any new commands during their stay. - While walking in our quiet neighborhood or nearby trails, I will keep leash on all the time. - We have a vast unfenced front yard and backyard. I will keep she/he on their leash whenever she/he is outside the house unless you are oaky that she/he can play without a leash. Then, of course, I will keep my eyes on him all the time, such as while we are playing, catching a ball, or other activities in our backyard.

A typical day

I love to put as much attention to your dogs and play with them indoor or outdoor. The huge backyard provide an idea space for all types of activity. There are plenty of trails and forest nearby, providing enough activity for any energetic dogs. For each dog, I will create a daily schedule to follow. In general, I will use a simple two-hour regime to follow. During each region, it will start without potty in the forest in our backyard, followed by walking in the neighborhood, playing in the backyard, and playtime, or resting in the house. Then there will be another two-hour for the dog to rest. Feeding will be around noon and late afternoon if the dogs are old enough. Of course, the schedule will depend on how you do it at home.
