I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in elementary school. I taught our Labrador Retriever, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge after 16 years with us, tons of tricks including how to get the newspaper and roll over. He was the demonstration dog during several training classes at Pet Smart and participated in agility training. I had him from the time he was a puppy through his senior years so I can care for pups in any stage of life. I can’t wait to meet your pup and treat him like family.

Kevin and his family are so nice and friendly! They took exceptional care of our 2 dogs. They sent daily videos and pictures which made us feel less guilt of leaving them behind. They have a nice fenced in yard and Kevin worked remote some days so they didn’t feel alone. I HIGHLY recommend Kevin for your future pet needs.
Even with a rocky start, Kevin was a great sitter and everything went fine. We received timely updates and pictures. He was very responsive to all of our requests. We highly recommend him.
Kevin and his family were welcoming, kind, and caring with our dog. Communication and photo updates made us realize our dog was with a family who truly loves 4 paw guests. If given the choice, I think he would have enjoyed staying longer! Thanks opening your hearts and home to our pup.

My neighborhood is perfect for walking your pup with a mixture of hills and flat spots. Lots of different scents from deer that pass through and horses on a nearby farm. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run. I have a soft, crib mattress in the family room that serves as a dog bed for visiting pups. Overnight, pups sleep in my bedroom crated or uncrated, whichever makes them more comfortable. In the unlikely event of an emergency, the Newberry Animal Emergency Center is 8 minutes from my home and open 24hrs on the weekend (Fri-Sun). No pets of my own in the house right now. My beloved lab Marley recently crossed the rainbow bridge. If watching in your home, I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave.

I want to know as much about your pup as you'd like to share including special needs, favorite treats/tricks, and games they like to play. Please also share records showing your pup is up to date with vaccines and flea/tick prevention.
A typical day
I'm an earlier riser and wake at 5:30am. I work from home (Mon-Fri) and will let your pup out as often as needed. Your pup will be free to roam the house as long as they don't get into trouble. I like to take a walk over my lunch break and will take your pup with me. I have two kids who adore dogs and love to play with them. Fetch is played routinely, if not daily. I like to give treats, especially if they know any commands or tricks.

Availability
I work from home most days of the week, giving me time to play with your pup and take them on walks. I have a dog crate but only use if necessary, such as if you have a chewer who shouldn’t be left alone and unsupervised. I live in a two-story house with a fenced back yard. I have two kids and I volunteer in all their activities (basketball, scouts, softball) so I do need to step out in the evenings at times. I take daily walks and can gladly take your pup along!
