I had a 15 1/2-year-old shepherd mix who passed away five years ago. I just adopted another shepherd mix, and I've had her for 2 years. I have a 10 x 10 mudroom that is air-conditioned,and heated where your pup will eat, and sometimes play. I live an eighth of a mile from the Norton town forest where there are miles of wooded trails, and a spring fed pond if you pup likes to swim. I am home most of the week, and weekends. I live a thousand feet from any street, and have almost 4 1/2 acres of property with a large partially fenced in yard. I also live about 2 miles from 1500 acres of state owned land that farmers lease to grow corn and hay. There are miles of trails through the fields and forest. For a special treat on hot days, I freeze no salt chicken broth, and make Pupsicles for the pups to eat outside. My fee through Rover is $40 a day. If your drop off is prior to 12 noon it is considered a full day if drop off is after 12 noon that is considered a half-day, and the same for pick up. Pick up after 6 PM will be an additional half-day.

We are extremely pleased with the care that Kerry provided for our dog over the past 4 days and nights. She is passionate about the care and individual attention she gives each dog.Our dog had plenty of exercise , love and was treated like a king! Our pup, Dahlia, is a very, very active girl, therefore we spent a lot of time trying to find the right fit for her while we were on vacation. We looked at various kennels and interviewed other "sitters" on Rover. Then we found Kerry! Kerry took care of our puppy Nov 11 - 18. She invited us to her home for a meet and greet a few weeks before our planned vacation. Our pup quickly made herself right at home in Kerry's huge fenced in back yard. Kerry had also told us that she goes on 2 long walks/runs in the woods each day and that her "guests" are welcomed to roam the house like it was their own. Right then, we knew Kerry was our perfect match! Kerry sent us frequent updates and photos from their adventures in the woods. There was also a picture of Dahlia sound asleep on Kerry's leather couch in front of a beautiful fire in the fire place. (Perhaps, next vacation, I will go to Kerry's house, too)! Kerry took wonderful care of our pup. Between playing in the huge fenced in yard and the long walks in the woods, our girl came home calm and happily warn out. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our pup was in the care of such a loving and active lady!!!
Our experience with Kerry was nothing short of amazing. Kerry took the time to have us do a 'meet and greet', and we knew then that this was a very special person who clearly cares about her pets and charges. Usually when we go away, we're either feeling guilty or worried that Stella will be OK; not this time. Kerry sent updates and pictures by text and it was obvious that Stella was not only having a good time, but in good hands. If you love your dog like we do, look no more, you're in good hands with Kerry.
We recently adopted a 4 year old Morkie from a rescue shelter - and she is full of energy and very fearful of strangers. We were terrified of leaving her in a kennel, as we have heard so many unfortunate stories. We wanted Penny to feel safe and loved while her "new" family was away. We brought Penny over to meet Kerry - and they instantly bonded! We did not hesitate to leave Penny with her for the weekend - we were confident that Kerry would take great care of our new pup and that Penny would be safe and happy. Throughout the weekend, Kerry sent us pictures and videos of their adventures - they had a lot of fun together! Kerry welcomed Penny into her beautiful home - letting her be part of Kerry's family for the weekend. So very important to us! We were afraid Penny would not want to come home! We know she can't wait to go back!! Boarding your dog with Kerry will give you peace of mind and help you to relax and enjoy your time away from home. Thanks Kerry!!
