This was Kerry’s second time taking care of Mac, and she did a fantastic job as always! She came to our home daily to take care of our cat and always sent the sweetest photos and updates of Mac. He has a chronic condition, and she did a wonderful job taking care of him and updating me on the days he didn’t feel well. I felt confident he was well taken care of ...

This was the second time my family dropped off our Frenchie, Frankie, with Kerry. He got excited when he saw her. This reassured us that Franky will be in good hands. Through out our vacation, Kerry would send us videos and pictures along with updates on Frankie. She evened accommodated my daughter’s request to FaceTime with Frankie.

Stay at home wife with dog

Boarding/Day care: If your dog loves other dogs, my home may be perfect. My dog adapts well to just about any personality and play-style. You will need access to Schofield Barracks or we can arrange a pick-up.

Walks: I take great care to accommodate the needs of the dog. If it's energy burn, we walk a mile. If it's social, we casually walk to explore and play. I will always ensure they have water ...

What Kerry would like to know about your dog

Must get along well with a 25lbs, neutered, male dog. My dog is occasionally intimidated by high energy dogs larger than him. He's not yet had an issue with high energy dogs his size or smaller nor any size dog with low energy.
Let me know of any undesirable habits your dog may have (chewing, barking, accidents indoors, etc), so I can prepare in advance.
Please let me know your dog's average daily routine, so I can mimic it as much as possible.
We do not allow dogs on our bed, but if they are accustomed to sleeping with you, I will sleep on the reclining couch with them.
I usually respond to dogs as if they are human children. If you'd prefer a more alpha approach, let me know so I can accommodate.
Please inform me of any allergies your dog may have, so I know to avoid it (food, environmental, shampoo allergies, etc).
All foods dangerous to dogs are strictly kept out of reach (chocolate, grapes, avocados, nuts, etc). If your dog is accustomed to being shared off your plate, let me know, so I can prepare a dog friendly bite while we eat. I do not want them disappointed or feel as if they've done something wrong if they are use to being shared people food. However, if you do not inform me, they will get none (no matter how cute or how much they beg).
I only mix multiple dogs with repeat clients I've already cared for, so we can all be confident that each dog will be comfortable and get the attention they deserve. If a potential booking overlaps with a dog I've not yet cared for, I arrange a Meet & Greet with all parties involved (unless both clients are comfortable without). You will always know if your dog will be mingling with others and the personality type of each one. If you are uncomfortable with this arrangement, let me know prior to booking and I will comply on a first-booked/first-served basis.
Your providing of food (and medication, if applicable) is required. If you desire treats for your dog, please provide them as well. Any other provisions are optional, but highly encouraged to make your dog feel more at home (ie: food/water bowls, toys, beds/pillows, a t-shirt with your scent, crate/play-pen, etc).

When Kerry watches your pet

Boarding/Day care: Your dog can have plenty of outdoor play time in my fenced backyard. Our dogs can play chase, wrestle, tug-a-war with a rope, fetch balls, or any toy you'd like to bring for them. We can snuggle in the couch when it's naptime. I can engage their interest in obeying commands for treats (please provide). Let me know what words they recognize, so I can repeat them often. Walking routes are along low traffic sidewalks up to a mile. I can do one walk in the morning and one evening, at your request.

Walks/Drop-in visits: I will comply with the activities of your request (excluding running outside a fenced area). Please provide all items necessary to fulfill (ie: leash, harness, dog waste bags, treats/food, toys, etc). Please inform me of all commands that I may have to give (sit, wait, leave it, come, heel, etc) so I can communicate effectively with them. If they are accustomed to a particular walking route, let me know where to go. I prefer little to no traffic routes, but can confidently walk your dog along a busier street if this isn't possible. If the service is a drop-in visit and a walk is not desired, I will do the activities, food/water, social stimulations, pet-related cleaning (etc) needs that are expected. Please communicate these prior to booking, so we both are confident I can fulfill your expectations.
