Hi! My name is Kerry and I am originally from NJ. We had our own family pet dog (a black lab) growing up and I have pet sit/baby sat for multiple clients for about 24 years. Currently, I have Golden Shepard that I adopted 4 years ago. I had previously volunteered at the Tampa Bay Humane Society and I have watched small dogs - large dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, kids and even plants. I am a Marketing professional during the day but would love to care for your pet when needed. I’m trustworthy, responsible, friendly and hardworking. I will treat your pet with the utmost care and leave your house looking the same as it did when you left (unless you wanted me to straighten, I could do that too!). This was our first time using Rover and we were VERY happy with our experience with Kerry! We had been using Camp Bow Wow but checking on them on the cameras there they just never seemed relaxed, possibly anxious. From our outside cameras here, the dogs looked right at home and happy go lucky with Kerry. She also sent us pictures during boarding and they looked like they were just living their normal life and routine, which was exactly what we wanted. Kerry regularly communicated with us, left the house in great condition, and even washed her sheets! Will be booking with Kerry again.
First time Rover user-I was very comfortable leaving pups with Kerry. She sent pics, provided updates and even had bedding in the laundry when I got back- best houseguest I’ve had in a while! Lol! Most important to me is dog’s safety and health while I’m away and dogs didn’t seem to know we were even away!
Kerry did an exceptional job taking care of our pets while we were out of town. Great pet sitter. I would not hesitate to call her again. Thanks Kerry!
Our dog enjoyed having Kerry around! Our dog had unexpected emergency surgery a few days before Kerry came. She agreed to continue to watch her. We were so thankful for her! Our dog enjoyed the extra walks and attention while we were gone.

If your pet has any special needs or injuries please let me know. I know for French bull dogs it’s hard for them the clean themselves, that dirt gets in their wrinkles and they get heat exhaustion really quickly, all of those would be important to inform me of so I can best care for your pet.
A typical day
Stimulating physical and mental health for dogs is extremely important. Depending on the time of year as I know a lot of dogs get heat exhaustion very easily, I would take the dog for walks and even visit Park Rd. Park or Freedom Park (only if the dogs are social with other dogs). For some of my introverted pets, I would play games and give extra belly rubs. I would still take to the park but a less population heavy park :)
