Pet care experience
Growing up, my mom worked at a vet and boarding with a professional dog trainer for many years. In addition to our own family pets, being around so many different dog and cat personalities helped me be comfortable around others’ pets, whether it be staying at their home or an occasional visit and/or walk. Throughout my 20s and now 30s, I’ve looked after dogs and cats of all ages and special needs in North Texas. I moved to KC in 2022, and would love to get to know your beautiful fur friends!

Wonderful experience! Was very nervous about leaving our dogs with someone they didn’t know, but Kerry did a fabulous job! She was willing to meet and get to know them before hand and reassured us with pictures and check ins while we were gone. Definitely recommend
Kerry was a wonderful sitter for our pup Piper! We had to go out of town for a weekend and it was our first time ever leaving her, but Kerry did a great job of putting our minds at ease. Kerry spoiled her and sent us pictures and videos every day, showing us how good Piper was doing. We were so grateful for her time and we will definitely be using her again in the future!
This was the first time I've had to find a sitter for my older dog and Kerry made it anxiety-free. I got lots of photos and updates. Definitely going to schedule with Kerry again!
This is our second time booking with Kerry and were yet again so pleased! We received updates and pictures of our pups. One of our dogs struggles to warm up to new people and Kerry was so patient with him. Would definitely recommend.

I always stick to the routine that your pet is most comfortable with. I pay special attention to their needs, and always immediately let my clients know if I notice any unusual or changed behavior. Friends and clients appreciate my intuitive approach to caring for their pets—I’m not shy about reaching out and asking for guidance if something new comes up! I treat my clients homes with respect and care, and can gather mail, packages, or water plants.

Please let me know if you pet has any special needs during our meet & greet. I have cared for both dogs and cats with trust issues and diabetes/insulin needs. I feel comfortable administering injections and any other prescriptions or special diet plans.
A typical day
I love to get on a pets level and get them excited about play time! I feel comfortable assessing your pets energy level and comfort based on past experiences or needs. I recognize newly adopted pets may need periods of adjustment with new people around—I’ll never push their boundaries and let them tell me when they are ready.

Availability
During the week, I work full time, 9-5 at a museum. I work from home on Fridays. I have availability for pet sitting at your home or drop-in visits. If your pet needs to be let out sooner than a typical workday (7-8 hours), I may not be the sitter for you! However, I can try my best to accommodate around my schedule depending on location.
