Pet care experience
I've loved dogs all my life. My partner and I currently have our second foster fail - an energetic and playful rescue pup named Storm! I've volunteered with a few local shelters, and fostered both dogs and rabbits for a few years. We've taken care of fosters from a large tripod dog post-amputation, to a 8-week old puppy with a broken leg, to dogs who were just rescued from puppy mills. I’ve also raised bunnies from 8 weeks to 3 months 🐰 I have experience working with reactive, shy, and/or temperamental dogs, and find a lot of joy in spending time with them and helping them live more fully into themselves! 💖

A typical day
So. Many. Activities! We love doing enrichment exercises at home with our puppy, since he is a very active working dog who loves having a job. We do lots of nose games and other trick training. We live in an area that's close to a lot of parks so we love going on dog walks around the neighborhood. We're also not far from a beach walk so we love leisurely walking our pup there. Also cuddles. A lot of cuddles, pets, and massages!

Availability
Both my partner and I work from home, so we spend a LOT of time with our dog and are able to provide exercise and enrichment throughout the day. We have access to a ton of grass and lawn space outside the apartment so there's a lot of sniffing to do. I love training and playing enrichment games and teaching dogs new tricks!
