Pet care experience
Since I was a little girl, I have always had at least one dog in my house along with 1-2 cats that I have loved and cared for. When my family gets together for holidays and dinners, we are typically outnumbered by all the dogs in the family. I will provide your dog with the love and attention they need: pets, snuggles, and play! I will also brush your dog to keep their coat looking beautiful! I have 1 dog of my own, Riley, that they can play and snuggle with. Between the fenced in yard and our the beautiful walkable areas surrounding the neighborhood, your dog will have plenty of outlets for their energy! Your dog will feel right at home for the entire duration of their stay! If you're wondering about the hiatus on my reviews, I left Rover for a couple years and stuck to family and friends as clients while I went through a life transition. Now that I am resettled, my furbabies and I are ready for some more company!

Kerri has watched my rescue dog, Ziggy, several times and has done a wonderful job. I know when she takes care of Ziggy that she treats him like one of her own dogs, giving him lots of love and lots of walks. I would recommend Kerri for any pet sitting job!
Elsa had a great time with Kerri and James! She ate both her meals the first day she was there which is really unusual for Elsa - normally it takes at least a day for her to relax and eat - so she must have been quite comfortable. I love that they have a fenced in backyard so she could run around! Kerri did a great job sending pictures and videos so we felt comfortable that Elsa was well cared for while we were away. Thanks Kerri and James!
Our dog had a blast!
Appa has so much fun at Kerri's house! She has a great fenced in yard for him to run around with her two sweet and playful dogs. We appreciated the texts and pictures she sent every day. I feel super confident that Appa is in great hands when we leave him with Kerri while we are away.

I am able to use my fenced in back yard for some small play sessions. I will never leave your pet unsupervised in the yard and always stay outside to play and monitor them. My cats have grown up since kittens surrounded by many dogs and are very curious and friendly with our visitors. I also keep my home clean and organized so that there is nothing around that may be tempting to our chew oriented pets. I am happy to crate your pet if preferred as well as long as a crate is provided.

Let me know how your dog usually tells you they need to go to the bathroom. Has your dog interacted with cats before? I also like to know about where they typically relax and sleep in your home so I can make their space here comfortable and safe. Is your dog energetic and playful or do they prefer to lounge and relax?
A typical day
I love to sit in the backyard and throw the ball or some sticks for the dogs to chase. I have a sprinkler and a splash pad for pets who enjoy water play! We also like to go to the park that is a 7 min drive from the house to explore the trails through the woods! During our down time, there are tons of toys and bones and plenty of comfy places to relax (depending on the visiting dog, I can also put the bones away to prevent resource guarding).

Availability
I am a full time teacher during the week. I wake up early enough to feed and walk Riley along with the kitties. In the afternoons, I can be home by 3:30 for the next potty break and some much needed play time/long walks! Weeknights, I will be home with your pet, treating them as one of the family. On weekends during pet stays, the longest period of time I may leave the house is 3-4 hours, leaving plenty of time to get all their energy out!
