Pet care experience
My family has owned and handled Great Danes for my entire life! If you have an XL/ Giant breed, I’m definitely your girl. I’ve cared for, walked, and watched dogs of family and friends through my life as well, including those with medications/ medical requirements. Finally, I am also a frequent volunteer with animal shelters where I walk, feed, and do general help/ cleaning for dogs and cats on a weekly basis!

From creating bonds and friendships with her schoolmates and coworkers to helping others in volunteering with animal shelters, fundraising for various charities and other causes. She has had the good fortune to have had several dogs and a cat and a guinea pig to care for along with the opportunity to house sit for family members pets while they were away on vacation. I take measures to make sure that the animals I have the opportunity to walk/ care for have a comfortable, safe, and fulfilling experience. While working with owners to get to know the background on their animals, I like to spend the time and give attention to the animal themselves to learn their personality and what works best for them. I have experience working with dogs that are a bit more difficult to handle, as well as dogs that are animal aggressive.

I’m good handling a wide variety of breeds and sizes, but there are a few helpful things to know before hand! -What’s their motivation- food, toys, etc.? -Do they have basic obedience training? -Do they have any triggers/ aggressive tendencies? -Are they good with other people/ animals?
A typical day
I love to do enrichment activities with my own pets as well as spend plenty of time outside with them! Daily exercise (mental and physical) is top priority for me!

Availability
I currently work full time, so while I own a cat, other pets have been out of the question for me for the time being. That being said, I love to dedicate the free time I do have to working with animals and getting them the daily exercise they need (as well as the daily exercise I need haha)!
