Aloha, I have a lifetime of experience around animals of all shapes and sizes and I would love to take care of your beloved pet(s)! Whether it be walk on Kahala beach, trips to Diamondhead dog park, or playing fetch around the neighborhood, I have the active lifestyle and the energy to keep up. As a graduate student away from my pets at home, I have so much love to give and hope you’ll trust me with the care of some of the most cherished members of your family! (For those with puppies and older dogs) I also have the patience and compassion to deal with puppies and older dogs with different accommodations, whether that be special medication requirements, incontinence, or even IV fluid delivery, I have had lots of experience and am prepared to offer your pet the trusted care they need.

I like to visit my client’s home prior to care while the client is there to introduce myself to the animal in a safe space. This also allows me to go over any questions about the pets care. For housesitting, I offer no less than twice daily walks, feeding, etc. Depending on where a client lives and their own comfort, I am willing and may request to spend the night in a client’ home in order to ensure timely morning walks and feeding. I do have a car and if the pet is car trained, I am happy to take it to a local dog park or for a walk on the beach. I love to pet animals and animals shed, which is why I do request access to a vaccuum and or broom to help clean the home before I leave.

Please let me know if the dog has a history of health issues or any current health issues that require medication or special care. In addition, please let me know if the dog has specific spots they go to for walks- I like to keep whatever routine they have.
A typical day
Fetch, swimming and hiking (if permitted by owner), long walks at Kahala or Castles, and time spent at Diamondhead dog park! And, of course, Swimming will be followed by a good bath with doggie safe shampoo.

Availability
I am currently a PhD student, with classes Tuesday-Thursday. Aside from Wednesdays, I never have more than 4 hours at a time where I need to be on campus. I have a car, which allows me to provide no less than twice daily walks, feedings, etc.
