Pet care experience
Hello, I'm Kerri! I'm a mom to a Shiba Inu dog and 2 kitties. I've lived with and cared for furry family members for over 10 years. Growing up I lived with a Whippet, Border Collie Mix, and Dachshund Mix. I also had several rabbits and a leopard gecko. My experience with animals outside of my own pets includes participating in dog shows through a 4-H club, volunteering/fostering with local animal rescues, and pet sitting for friends and family members. I've watched animals as small as a dwarf hamster and as large as a Newfoundland! I've previously worked for a pet store and a mobile veterinary care facility. I also attended 2 semesters of a local Vet Tech program where I learned to administer medications to pets and do general wellness checks. If you're looking for an experienced, reliable pet sitter, I may be your purr-fect match! I look forward to meeting you and loving on your pets!

Kerrie is wonderful. 😊 she is smart, dedicated, and empathetic. My pets and I would highly recommend!
Kerri is so sweet and my babies loved her. I will definitely be rebooking!
Ever since I have known Kerri, she has been a major animal lover, and she is very knowledgeable, especially about dogs and cats. I know I can trust her to take care of my pets, even my fish. On multiple occasions, Kerri has come over to my house to check on and feed my dog. Now we have a cat. Kerri recently stayed over with our Westie and our new kitten when we were out of town. They love her! She sends me updates and answers my texts. I'm so glad I can count on Kerri to take care of my sweeties.
Kerri B. has been taking care of pets since she was 5 years old. She has always loved animals. She has taken many vet tech classes and has owned her own pets for the past 6 years. Now 26 years old, Kerri has helped care for three dogs that she grew up with. She now has two cats and one dog of her own. She has been a foster for many kittens from the SPCA. She has been a volunteer at the SPCA. She previously worked at VIP Pet Care which involved traveling to places to help give dogs their shots and clip their nails. Kerri is a very responsible pet owner. She takes her pets to the vet regularly and any time they seem unwell. She buys them special food and lots of toys to make sure they have the best life. I have left all of my pets in her care for multiple days and they were taken care of wonderfully. I would not hesitate to recommend Kerri to take care of anyone's pets.

Safety, trust & environment
It's important to me to maintain your pet's schedule as much as possible to avoid too much stress and change to their routine. This includes meal/potty times, medication times, and maintaining any boundaries you've established with your pet in your home. I will treat your baby as if they were my own and always make sure you're sent updates and photos so you can see how much fun we're having. I will never leave your pet unattended outside or with items that could potentially be a hazard, so you won't have to worry while you're away!
Information Kerri B. would like to know about your pet
- Does your pet have any behavioral issues and/or triggers I should be aware of? (Resource guarding, separation anxiety, etc.) - Does your pet ever try to escape? If so, do you have a harness that I can use to take your pet outside? -Does your pet have any health issues I should be aware of? -Is your pet housebroken/litterbox trained? -Does your pet take any medications or have any allergies?
A typical day
During our Meet & Greet, I'll ask what your pet's favorite toy or game is so we can do that activity while we're together. When I'm with your pet they'll certainly get lots of attention and affection if that's what they enjoy. I'd also love to give your pet their favorite treats while they're in my care with your approval. If your baby has separation anxiety, I'd be happy to bring them a lick mat or snuffle puzzle to help give them a positive distraction!

Availability
Recently I've taken on a second part-time job, so I'm not as available as I used to be. I will be keeping my calendar up to date because I love pet sitting through Rover, so please feel free to reach out if I have an open day that fits your needs!
