I’ve had and helped take care of dogs since I was 8 years old when my family got my childhood dog. I grew up with her, taking her on walks, feeding her, playing with her, and loving her unconditionally until the end of her life. Two years ago I got a dog of my own. I went through training her as a puppy, including potty training, basic obedience commands, and some tricks. Throughout my life, I have dog sat and walked dogs for my neighbors while they have been out of town. While I had a roommate, I helped her out fostering dogs as well.

Kenzie did an excellent job watching my dog Zelda. This was Zelda's first night away from home without me and she was cared for above and beyond my expectations. I received multiple photos and updates of her stay and was very satisfied with how helpful and responsive Kenzie was. I will definitely be booking with her again when I need an overnight sitter.

I have a big yard where my dog and I like to play fetch and run around. I do allow my dog on furniture and on my bed, so will treat your dog the same if they wish to do so. I live near some trails that make for great walks.

A typical day
My favorite activity to do with dogs is to go on walks. I live nearby some trails along the river that I enjoy walking along. I usually go on one longer walk a day, usually in the evening, and also a shorter one earlier in the day around my neighborhood.

Availability
I’m currently working from home, and am home most weekends! I generally work until 4 PM then play with and walk my dog after that in the evenings. My open weekends provide lots of time to give attention to dogs.
