Saved me on thanksgiving by gi

I'll start with the positive. Kenzie initially appeared confident and was a good communicator, she showed up on time for our appointments before we left, she checked in on the last day to find out when we'd be back. She seemed to get along fine with our male dog that can be a little fearful and reactive around new people. I'm not sure what happened while we were out of town for 9 days and she was supposed to be house sitting/staying at our home, but what we came home to was a poop and pee filled house, like no one had been here for a while! The smell in the house was so bad, I could smell it outside before even opening the door. Very upset with how this ended and I have never seen anything this bad before with all of the house/dog sitters we've utilized over the years. I'm not completely sure she stayed at our home the whole time we had agreed paid for, and communicated about. In addition to coming home to 5 piles of dog poop and pee on the carpet and floors, plus a whole shower full of cat poop and pee that had been there for over a week as it was molding. Our male dogs harness was no where to be found ~ when I messaged her to ask where it was, she reported that it had broken and she had ordered another one. I am completely baffled at the lack of communication prior to our return about that ~ we wasted time looking for it. Our animals appeared to be very, very stressed when we got home (not like how they've been in the past with other walkers or sitters). I left clear written instructions each day on what to do, it was not difficult. The water bowl didn't get changed out for days ~ mostly I just could not believe the mess we came home to. :( I would not hire this person again.
