Pet care experience
I am an experienced pet sitter. Not only have I been a lifelong sucker for all things feathered, furred, or scaled, I have actual professional experience. I worked for a time in Durham at Triangle Pet Care and took care of a vast number of animals: from guinea pigs, to dogs, cats, birds and more! I have worked with training puppies to be well socialized and great on leash. On the opposite end of the age spectrum, I have also cared for elderly cats and dogs. I know each animals needs and wants are unique, and I'm willing to meet the animal where they are at to ensure they have a good experience in my care.

Kenzie took wonderful care of our 3 kitties and sugar glider while we were away. I loved seeing the photos she took of them and the detailed summary of her visits. She is a caring, sweet person and I feel very lucky to have her to care for our pets!
Kenzie does a wonderful job with my cat who can be difficult. Always enthusiastic in her visit reports and genuinely conveys an interest in connecting with Lucy.

In my home, we have one dog (a miniature schnazuer) that is all sorts of friendly. He loves other dogs and is always eager to make a friend. We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to roam and sniff. We have a dog pool, and other ways to cool off in the Carolina heat. On the flip side, we have quiet space/spare room available if your dog prefers their own company. As for your house, I am happy to follow whatever instructions make you and your pet most comfortable. I know different animals have different needs, and I am willing to work with you to form a care plan that fits best with your family.

A typical day
We have a large yard and many toys that are sure to keep your dogs busy! As far as walks, Weaverville is home to many awesome parks that I love taking dogs to. The nature park has got to be one of my favorites because it is so shaded and quiet.
