Pet care experience
Animals have been a part of my life since my earliest years. My mom and i were a wildlife rehab team from the the time I could walk and our house was never without a menagerie of animals. From cats to dogs to goldfish to raccoons, squirrels, birds, opossums, and even tortoises.... we had it all. I spent my college and post grad years as a vet tech. Animals have a special place in my heart. We have four rescue pups, two of them with anxiety/people issues, so I understand the difficult cases. I'm comfortable with injections, medication, fluids, and routine blood testing. I'm located in Crestwood and prefer to serve the Crestwood, Forest Park, and Avondale area to stay local. I will consider overnights, however, I reserve those for special needs clients. I can assure you that your pets will be in good hands and well cared for while you are away. I can also set up temporary pet cams at no extra cost (no guarantee as it will depend on your Wi-Fi compatibility, but I usually have good luck with this.) I hope to make a lasting relationship with you and your pets, they deserve to know the person visiting them while you are away. <3

Could not ask for a better rover option for our two boys!
I was so worried about leaving Winston after his back surgery. Kenzi checked on him during the day and made sure he took his medicine. She was great!

We have special needs pups. In fact this was my motivation for becoming a Rover sitter, we had trouble finding sitters who could handle our needs. With over 9 years as a vet tech (in my younger years), wildlife rehab experience, undergrad pre-vet degree, and countless successful rescue pup fosters large and small.... I am ready to take on the special needs of Crestwood, Forest Park, and Avondale. Let me know your specific needs and we will work together to come up with a plan. I want you to be able to vacation without worry and know that your beloved family member is in good hands.
A typical day
As in the Montessori education, I "follow the dog". Are the walkers, sniffers, ball chasers? My time there belongs to them and their favorite activities. They deserve to tell me what it is they are wanting to do and that's exactly what we will spend our time doing. Let me know if there is a specific routine your pup is used to and we will keep that going as well.
