I grew up with dogs in my household my whole life. I always enjoyed dogs and dog sat with my girlfriend last summer where we had to watch dogs for 2-3 days at a time. Im currently an athlete at Queens University of Charlotte so I’m looking for this as a summer job to keep me busy over the summer.

First time using the Rover app and was kind of leary having someone come to my home. But I must say Kenny was a very laid back, easy going, friendly and mannerable young man. Kyzer seemed very happy interacting with him and Kenny seemed to really love being with Kyzer. I also liked that Kenny captured their time together and shared the pictures with me. I will definitely use this young man again.
Kenny is incredible. He truly came through in a pinch on a last minute request. Diesel was a little wary at first but warmed up to him quickly. After her first walk, she came home and just crashed. He wore her out! It was great. On her evening walk she met him in the hallway, with her tail wagging like crazy. She bonded with him after just one walk. He's communicative, caring, and energetic. I can't wait to book with him again!

I have a fenced backyard so the dogs will be safe when outside. There is also a dog park where I stay so they will be able to play with other dogs if the owners are ok with that.

Before dog sitting a dog you should know if they have any conditions that require medicine or if they have a routine at night or in the morning. Anything that requires treatment to the dog.
A typical day
I love to play fetch and just run around with the dogs outside. For the most part I’ll try to be outside with them, I hate seeing dogs inside all day. I’ll also try and go to a dog park if possible.

Availability
Since I am an athlete over the summer I have 1 or 2 workouts a day that last no long than an hour and a half. After that my schedule is free for that day so I will be able to be with the dogs and play with them for the rest of the day.
