My experience started poorly, and while I was hopeful, it only got worse. I initially marked 12/30 as my drop off date by accident and needed to change it to 12/31. In doing so, I notified Kenny I needed the change on 12/27, exactly 3 days before the initial and incorrect date. Though he has a 3-day cancellation policy (it is not written as 72 hours), and not only was I 3 days away but was also not cancelling, he still decided it was necessary to take half of that day's fee from me. I notified him that because of this I would not be booking with him in March when I am gone for two weeks. Fine, ok. If $22 now is more important than hundreds later, so be it. The drop off was slow but fine. I wasn't thrilled about Barley staying at an apartment but it's probably not the worst, right? Well, there was a small dog that was penned in and pooped inside. Okay, no judgment. But there also wasn't sufficient space for a dog to be happy. When I got back to pick Barls up, it took a suuuper long time, and the friends waiting on me were not happy. I finally get my dog and his normally light and soft hair is curly and greasy. I ask what the deal is, and am told he got into the shower. Weird, he doesn't do that... why is he covered in something greasy? Then I'm told he got a bath. Why? And why not just tell me that first? Well, there was still a large brown stain on his side, so he didn't get a very good bath, icky chemicals on him aside. Clearly, he somehow landed in that other dog's poop that was on the floor in the apartment. So I had to take him home and give him a proper bath. Neither of us were happy with it. But once I got him home, I realized how bad things really were. He was eating snow constantly. Hardly any of his food was gone. And he drank water for 4 minutes straight when he got inside. Did they give him any water at all the day of the pickup?? The poor boy was so dried out he was not able to pee until late that night. And he was starving. What kind of treatment are these poor animals getting? Never again.
