I have raised and trained all of my own dogs from puppies. I only believe in positive reinforcement but I'm not afraid to tell my dog, "No or Stop" and no rewards for any bad behavior. I enjoy teaching smart puppies the 7 basic commands and beyond. I started training my current dog at 7 1/2 weeks. He can go find his toys, play ball and is now catching a frisbee on the fly and on the run. My next goal for him is starting his Agility training. I plan on fencing in a larger backyard for his own private dog park for daily excercise and possibly forming a local Agility group for people who want to train and work with their own dogs. Lastly, I'm now retired and dogs brighten up my days.
