Pet care experience
Having grown up with dogs my entire life, I got my very own first puppy at age 14. She was a Rottie and my everywhere companion. Thus began my love of caring for and training dogs. I have studied a fair amount on the training methods of Cesar Milan. Over the last 25 years I have had three dogs of my own and the opportunity to take care of countless dogs/breeds for friends and family, and have rarely been without a furry companion until recently. As my wife and I adjust to life without our wheaten Terrier – The Duke of Wellington, whom we adopted and loved for 12 years, we find ourselves wanting to love and be companions for other furry friends. Perhaps in doing so we can see ourselves bringing another fluff ball, probably a Wheaten Terrier - we're kind of biased - back into the family. Needless to say, when your pet is with us they're like family.

Kenneth and his wife did a wonderful job making Yogi feel at home. Plenty of walks and affection too; Yogi can be a little anxious, but he adjusts quickly with Kenneth.
We had a great experience with Kenneth. You can tell knows dogs & has a comfort level and understanding with them. Our dog can be a little anxious at times, but he settled in with Kenneth & they had a nice day together. It was our first time using the Rover app, and I would be pleased to have our dog Yogi say with his new friend Kenneth again!
Kenneth was great! My senior dog Spaz is a bit skittish of new people and used to having my husband or me around, all the time. We are planning a trip that just won’t allow us to bring him along. Kenneth’s profile came across our path, and we decided to do an overnight stay to see how Spaz would handle being away from us. I’m happy to say, he did great! Kenneth was kind and understanding. He came out to great Spaz with a bag of cheese and took him on a short walk to help with the transition of us leaving. This was the first time I’ve let someone outside of my family watch my dog. I was a little nervous and was really relieved to receive photos of Spaz settled and happy. I definitely recommend!
I’d trust Kenneth to watch and walk my Golden who loves to eat everything — socks included — any day! Kenneth is a true dog person who would be great with any dog.

Lots of dog friends can be seen and greated while out walking in my dog-friendly neighborhood. It adjoins a nature area with woods, trails and a pond. I have a variety of dog toys to choose from for play and a screened in porch for lounging.

Professional working full-time Monday-Friday. Wishing to board / overnight / day watch on Friday evening - Sunday evening. This is ideal but could possibly accommodate some variance on a case-by-case basis.
