My sister came home from summer camp,Aug.1958.I had just turned 5.She demanded that before we went home ,we go to a pet store and get a dog.I know now the special relationship between father and daughter....we immediately went from the airport to the pet store.Within 3-4 months that dog was MY dog.Louie Phillippe lived til I was 22........'nuff said. At parties,I'd rather spend time with the unconditional love dogs give.I currently walk dogs,most specifically for a friend with MS...Happy Hal's son for all you oldtimers! I'm responsible,a native Memphian,and I won't bite the postman...ken L. I'm retired...and bored to death.I've volunteered for many organizations,most satisfying,the Alzheimers asso.And,would still be doing volunteer work if I were a philanthropist.....I'm very flexible. Memphis is ,like, 2 degrees of separation...so,it wouldn't surprise me that we have common friends I currently do not have a dog.My last friend was Sir Percival,a Scottie. He lived to 15,and all the staff of McGehee's clinic loved Percy....Louie,too...since my family has been going to Dr McGehee and his nephew since 1958!
