Pet care experience
I grew up with farm animals and dogs, I have been dog sitting professionally for two years, and dog walking professionally for 5 years. I have cared for large and small breeds, age ranging from 4 month old puppies to elderly dogs. I am a recent college graduate taking some time off before entering the workforce. I am committed to 4 clients right now, so I do require a 2 day inquiry for house sitting, and a 24 hour notice for dog walking (unless it is an emergency, don’t hesitate to ask). I ask for detailed expectations before caring for any pet, this would include your daily routines with the pets, how you pet gets along with other animals, if they require any medical attention such as medication or note taking. I am attentive to your dogs unique needs and try to adhere to your dogs daily routine to keep them at ease and in the flow.
Reviews
Kennedy was flexible, easy to work with and reliable. I think my dogs like her more than me. Seriously though, you can count on her to take care of your house and treasured pets.
Kennedy has watched our golden retriever and my son's two bulldogs simultaneously and maintained our koi pond while we are all on vacation and has several times. She is dependable, loves the dogs and they love her, is honest, sweet and the very best. I would recommend her to watch any pet as she genuinely loves animals. She is very easy to work with and follows directions well as our golden has to take multiple medications morning and night. HIGHLY recommend.

I prefer house sitting in the clients home, it helps keep the dog familiar with their daily routines and schedule. I have many local hiking areas that are pet friendly. I require clients to go over their own schedule with their pet and adhere to the dogs needs. Often times when pets are away from their owners, their potty routines can change due to anxiety or excitement. I try to listen closely to the dogs behaviors and make sure their needs are met throughout our stay.
Information Kennedy S. would like to know about your pet
Potty schedule, medications, grooming routines, feeding schedule, house rules such as does the dog have access to only certain parts of the house, are couches off limits to the dog. Are you trying to keep up with certain training routines? Is the dog friendly with other dogs? Is the dog a runner? Does he/ she need to be leashed inside the home before the door is opened. Is the dog allowed treats, or are they on any special diet? How active is your dog, do they have any known medical issues, or a history? Where is the dogs vet clinic in case of emergency, will you let the vet know the dog will be watched by a sitter. Do you allow a KONG or some sort of behavior deterant?
A typical day
I have a private hiking trail in mendon Ma that is dog friendly. I also love walks through the Hopedale parklands and milford bike trail. I try to tailor my activities to the dogs needs. I have a swimming spot in hopkinton for dogs who love water, as well as a portable pool for barnyard play time. Each dog breed has their own unique personality and needs and I try to adhere to those to the best of my abilities.

Availability
I recently graduated college and I am taking some time off before I enter the work force. I am a boxing coach and strength and conditioning coach, I teach morning classes and two afternoon classes/ night. The max time dogs would be left alone is 2.5 hours, if house sitting. I find my schedule helps with keeping dogs in a routine, and my active lifestyle helps keep up with high active dogs.
