Pet care experience
I am currently an Animal Science major at WTAMU, and have an incredible passion for animals. I have worked as a kennel tech at animal shelters and I am currently a Veterinary Technician at an animal hospital that requires me to let dogs of all sizes out on a routine, clean their area, and make sure they are properly fed. I have become a Certified Verternary Assistant this past year that allows me to understand basic medical procedures and is able to identify if there is any problems going on with your pet. My schedule will vary based on my class schedule throughout the week, but I will spend my free time making sure your pet gets the attention, affection, and loving care it needs and deserves to help ease your day and your pet’s day.

Before I sit for a dog, I would like to know if he/she has any special food they are required to eat, any medication that needs to be taken, is there a favorite toy of theirs, or any other special requirements that I would need to fill. I do not have a breed preference, any dog I will gladly accept and take care as if they are my own.
A typical day
Based on where the client is located, I would enjoy finding a park or enclosed area that is still big enough for the animal to exercise and have fun, depending on the client’s preference. I will bring toys if the pet does not already have some to allow them to have fun without tearing any thing up in the house. The dog and me will play many rounds of tag and chase to make sure they stay happy and healthy.
