Pet care experience
I have had both dogs and cats my whole life. I have worked in a vet clinic, so I have experience helping dogs and some cats with taking medications as well as walking and feeding them. I have experience boarding dogs in my home, and have taken care of neighbor’s and family member’s dogs before. Working at multiple vet clinics has given me the ability to read animal language and understand how to handle aggressive to super kind dogs. It also helped me to understand how to deal with more aggressive cats that may need a little extra love. I have xtra experience in aggressive/ reactive dogs as I have two and have worked with a bunch, so I am more than comfortable caring for them as well!

Kennedy is a very contentious pet sitter. Her true love of pets shines through when they are so happy to see her coming through the door! She is comfortable giving medications and follows instructions exactly as given. I have used her many times and highly recommend her!

I have a 2 year old Great Pyrenees Mix who is neutered, a 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd Lab Mix, a year old Black Lab, as well as 3 cats over 1 year all spayed and neutered. My dogs loves playing with other dogs and are very friendly and fun. My cats mind their own business no matter what I’m doing! I take my dogs on long walks both in the morning and in the evening, as well as a couple of shorter walks throughout the day. My partner also takes my dogs out in the mornings and evenings in between working hours. My home is near a park so I take my dogs there when the weather is nice but there is also a shared yard behind my home that isn’t frequently used that I walk my pets through everyday.

A typical day
If your dog stays with me, they will enjoy multiple walks throughout the day, as well as playing fetch if they enjoy that. We might also take a trip to my local dog park! They will receive a lot of attention while they are in my home from both me and my partner.

Availability
I’m available for pet care every day of the week unless something comes up on my calendar. I do work at a vet clinic full time, but it is 3 and 1/2 days per week and it is a set schedule. I can work around those hours for certain services. I try to be as flexible as possible with others’ schedules.
