I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and have grown up taking care of them while my parents traveled. I have dog-sat/house sat for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in high school. I am able to administer medication as one of my dogs back home has epilepsy and my other dogs are a senior and puppies. My first job was also working at a dog boarding facility, where I learned how to manage dogs and cats of all sizes and accommodate their variety of needs; at this job I was praised for how well I was able to make the dogs and cats feel relaxed and safe when in the new environment, as well as my skills in providing enrichment through lots of play and petting.
