Pet care experience
I am a veterinary assistant who has worked in this field for five years outside of that I have taken care of neighbors dogs along with our household pets ranging from dogs cats to reptiles. I myself have taken care of special needs pets that need medication or injections at a specific time. I am equipped to handle frequent walks, frequent bathroom breaks, lots of loving, and bathing.

I’m new to Rover but I needed boarding for my dog, last minute, for thanksgiving. I searched sitters in my area and came across Kennedy, who is a vet tech. We chatted for a while before I booked. Admittedly, I was nervous about boarding my dog with a stranger, but she helped calm my nerves. While we were gone, Kennedy, sent pics and messages so I could see how my baby was doing. Peach came home happy, which made me happy! I highly recommend Kennedy!

I live in an apartment but also have a house to stay at with the backyard. At my apartment complex I live on a trail that is perfect for walking dogs and bathroom breaks. I have plenty of space and materials to keep dogs and cats of all sizes entertained and happy while staying safe. I have no hunt for plants or supplies left out that could hurt an animal I do have two friendly cats that love to keep dogs company but if the dog is not cat friendly they would stay kenneled like they were trained to do when we got them. I do have the ability to create a dog if that is what the owner wants and we also allow for the pet stay free roaming.

I am equipped to handle senior dogs and special-needs dog and cats. I work at a vets office and have years of experience administering medication and monitoring animals of all ages and breeds. I just ask that you give me a thorough history before I watch the pet so I can make sure that I monitor according to each pets health history. I also like to know if a dog is food aggressive or has any triggers that makes you unhappy my goal is to keep the pet as happy as possible and as safe as possible
A typical day
Depending on each pet I love to make dog friendly recipes where they help cook with me. I also enjoy walking on the trails if the dog is able to handle that I also have a backpack for dogs who are not able to walk the long distances. Lastly I like to give belly rubs and back scratches during movie night I prefer to watch animal-based movies that provide lots of movement for the dog or cat to watch as well

Availability
I only work and have school part time so I spend most of my time at home. When I do go to work I work they vets office so depending on the client I would always be more than willing to take the pet with me or leave them inside my home depending on whatever makes the client and Animal happier. I am a routine-based person That loves taking care of all pets no matter what day of the week.
