Pet care experience
I have experience sitting dogs, cats, and houses. While I was a sitter more frequently in high school and college, it has continued to be something that I continue to do throughout the weekends even while working full time. I am responsible, caring, and attentive to detail. I have experience working with puppies who need lots more attention and activity as well as older dogs who tend to be more relaxed. I am an animal lover, and feel lucky when I get some quality dog time as I am not able to have one of my own.

Kenia was able to drop in on my cat over the holidays and made me feel comfortable leaving him for a few days! She was warm, responsive, and really cared for the well-being of my cat. He needed to be given oral medication as well, which she did not shy away from and made sure his needs were taken care of!
Kenia stepped in on very short notice over Thanksgiving and rearranged her schedule to accommodate me. She was a loving and caring drop in sitter for my cat and I would highly recommend her.
Super accommodating and responsible. Very friendly and communication was on point! We were running a bit behind schedule because we got ENGAGED ???❤️?? And Kenia was very excited for us and accommodating with our schedule for the day!
Showed up when scheduled. Took extra care of diesel and made sure he felt loved while I was gone. Will be scheduling again soon.

I have a very large, fenced backyard that most dogs love to run around in. I am a big fan of going on long walks and hikes so, if the fur baby needs lots of time outdoors I don't mind. I do my best to treat other's homes as I would want someone to treat my own so, I am very mindful of caring for the house while I stay there. I know each owner and pet have a different relationship with what their dog's home time looks like - on furniture v.s. off, in-crate when leaving v.s. just needing a door open etc - so, I try my best to always remember those rules so you can feel safe leaving your pet, and your home in my hands.

I really do just love all dogs in general but, I have a special spot in my heart for pit bulls. I think they are just the sweetest, most loving dogs that usually get a really bad rep when the reality is that they are just really smart and highly trainable. I have experience pet sitting for a couple different dogs so, I think it would just be really important for me to know what they like to do. Are they more of a want to sit on the couch and just cuddle type, or want to go on hikes and be active kind. I am more than happy to do what I need to make the visit the best for the fur baby!
A typical day
As I've mentioned, I know each dog has different needs so, my ideal day would be structured around what needs the fur baby would like to have met. On the weekends I usually like to hike in the morning and would feel comfortable bringing a pet with me if okay with the owners. If your pet prefers to play games at home, I don't mind sitting and throwing toys for a while. If your pet likes to hang out at home, I am also happy to do that.

Availability
I am currently working full time so, weekend stays would work best but my schedule is flexible and I am always able to drop by during my lunches as well as work remote from time to time to accommodate a stay.
