Pet care experience
My name is Kendra! I am a graduate of SIU with a bachelors in animal science. I am also an avid pet lover with experience in a wide range of species. I am certified in companion animal care and nutrition and have worked for the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. I currently have a 2 year old beagle mix named Bullseye who is full of energy and sass! He loves the dog park, squeaky toys and we also love to go hiking. I also have a crazy kitty who is also a ball of energy named Tee. I pride myself in my dedication to my pets and will provide as much attention and love to your pets as I do my own to truly make them feel special. I look forward to all the snuggles and fun that this job will provide!

Kendra has always had a love and passion for animals as long as I can remember. She has adopted numerous animals, taken in strays, and is even studying to work with animals. Not only does she have the time to give to any animal in need, she has the education to care for any type of animal as well. Allowing her to be a part of the Rover Team would be greatly beneficial!

Before dog sitting I would like to know just a few basic details about them such as their breed, activity level, any special needs or medications, their routines, and their general demeanor. I feel that I will be able to fulfill my job more efficiently by knowing the personalities and habits of their pets.
A typical day
With permission from the owner and depending on the willingness of their pet, I could take their dogs hiking and to local dog parks for socialization and exercise. Other than this, I would engage in fetch and whatever activities their pet loves to do! I strive for happiness in my pets and feel that their animals deserve the same treatment.
