My parents went away for 2 weeks and left me with their 1.5yr old (somewhat recent) rescue dog, Star. It quickly became apparent that the moment i left for work Star, and my dog Willow turned into the most devious little monsters ever. All their training and normal well behavior went right out the window. I desperately needed someone to come in and check on them while i was at work. This however, presented a big problem for me because Star (remember shes a rescue) Is afraid of strangers and often reacts with nips when she first meets someone. Kendra blew me away. Her calm demeanor put Star right at ease and we had no trouble with nipping. Each day that she came to check on the dogs, it was clear that they had inflicted less havoc on the house. She always sent me the cutest pictures of the dogs (they always had big goofy grins on their face) when she was over. She even brought them special fish treats the first time she came over so Star would be comfortable with her. I would highly recommend Kendra to everyone

Kendra was wonderful with our shy slow to warm up guy! She was patient and understood that he would need time to trust her, but because of her gentle and approachable personality, he was looking forward to her visits within a couple days which is way faster than his typical timeline. She was incredibly flexible taking him on last minute to help our regular walker was suddenly not available AND took on medications that were completely unplanned for without blinking an eye. She provided frequent and helpful updates about her visits and we were completely at ease with our guy in her care. We (and I definitely include Hunter in that we) are looking forward to seeing her again for another visit in the future. THANK YOU Kendra!
