I have grown up with dogs— all large breeds. Three years ago I rescued a border collie mix whose energy is unparalleled to any dog I’ve personally taken care of. Learning how to deal with her energy and the quirks that being a rescue inflict on a dog helped me discover a love for not only a dog’s companionship, but their individual personalities and intelligence as well. My dog and I frequently enjoy hiking, swimming, and playing games in the park. Teaching her new tricks cures her boredom and strengthens our bond. I am equally willing to invest this passion in others’ dogs.
