Pet care experience
I have raised, fostered, and cared for many pets throughout a lifetime, including strays, rescues, and injured animals. I come from a long line of animal lovers involved in raising awareness and funding for animal rescue and care organizations. I am an avid hiker and would love to have four-footed company on the local mountain trails, if that makes sense for your pups. If not, neighborhood walks are great too! I'm available for boarding at my home and sitting at yours.

Lido had a great time staying with Kendis! He loved sunbathing in the backyard and hanging out next to her. We really appreciated that Kendis made a point of getting to know Lidos’s routine and commands so that she could keep things consistent for him during his stay there. She kept us updated with pictures and was communicative. Lido is a very strong pittie with lots of young energy but we felt comfortable leaving him in Kendis’s capable hands!
Kendis is a dog lover and my Frenchie (Bronxie) felt at ease upon meeting his sitter. I was sent pics of Bronxie and I felt he was being taken care of. I would certainly feel very comfortable having Kendis as our sitter upon our next trip out of town.
We LOVE Kendis!! I feel so lucky to have her close by and I always feel so much peace-of-mind when Sunny stays with her! A wonderful person who shows Sunny so much care and love :)
Appa loves staying with Kendis! 2nd time with Kendis and when we dropped Appa off, she literally walked into her arms (which never happens with anyone)! Appa also doesn’t have much of an appetite when she stays with others, but Kendis was determined to troubleshoot and figured out a way to get her to eat. Will definitely keep bringing Appa back. Thank you so much again Kendis!

I have a fully enclosed yard and live in a very safe, walkable neighborhood. In an emergency, I am Red Cross certified for pet first aid/CPR and there are multiple veterinarians nearby that I have personally used over the years. If you prefer care in your home, that works too.

I know how difficult it is to put your pup’s care in someone else’s hands and I will work with you to make the transition smooth, safe, and comfortable.
A typical day
When your pup is with me her/his well-being will be my focus. If highly energetic, we can explore the local hiking trails; if very social, we’ll visit other friendly pups for play dates. I will do all I can to make your pets stay fun, safe, and stress free.
