Pet care experience
Hi all! I am a full-time employee with a local non profit in the Traverse City area. I have 8 years of experience when it comes to pet sitting. I have worked with many different dogs, from puppies to adult dogs with special needs. I can customize various activity levels varying from nice walks to hilly hikes. I'm more than happy to work with you and your dog(s) to keep their daily routine in place while you are away. I have two dogs myself, both rescues. I truly love animals have been raised with pets around the house my entire life growing up. It is super easy to get ahold of me as well, so if you'd like checkups of your animal, just shoot me a text or give me a call at anytime!

My animals responded very well to Kendall, and she seemed to love them too! Kendall communicated with explanatory detail, and acted very responsibly. She went above and beyond to ensure that the house was cleaned up and welcoming upon our return as well. I would highly recommend Kendall for dog and cat sitting.
Kendall checked in on my cat, Cosmo, for three days while we camped in the U.P. She did a great job communicating to me about her visit each day, took great care of Cosmo, freshening his water and litter box, and providing some play time. I really appreciate Kendall’s reliability and definitely recommend her! I’d love to have her pet sit for Cosmo in the future.
Kendall was fantastic! She came and met Ziggy without me there and bonded instantly! She was punctual every day to take our dog out and kept in constant communication about how Ziggy was. Highly recommend her!!!
Kendall is responsible, thoughtful, and kind - with both dogs and their humans! She watched both our dogs (an energetic 2 yo Flat Coat and rather stubborn 8 yo Malamute). We were pretty anxious to leave our Malamute in the care of a stranger (she is defensive and can be unpredictable when feeling threatened) but Kendall made sure everyone was comfortable with her presence in the home. She came over twice before we booked and spent time feeding, petting, and encouraging our anxious doggy. The stay went perfectly and Kendall kept us updated the entire time. A bonus - the house was spotless when we arrived home and she left a card for us on the counter! Kendall is now our go-to dog sitter.

A typical day
I am one for the outdoors, so walks are always fun, or adventuring to different nature trails around your location. I also am a big fan of water, so swimming or car rides to the water are a favorite!

Availability
I average 40 hours with my full time job. Most days I am able to step out during the lunch hour, but after work hours are typical for the most detailed care.
