I was 17 when I first started dog sitting overnight. My duties (besides the usual) included giving them treats and cuddling them if it began to thunder. It began to thunder WHILE I was in the shower! I've never rinsed my hair of shampoo faster in my life. I jumped out and cuddled both dogs with all my might! Mission complete. Other than that, I've been a responsible pet owner since I was a kid. Even today I have a home full of loved animals! I have a fish tank, rats, a rabbit and a cat. If I were to have a dog in my home, they would be kept in the downstairs away from all of my animals upstairs (unless they needed to sleep with someone at night, then they would stay in my bedroom with me at night!)
