Pet care experience
I have had a small terrier for 11 years, and have cared for her since she was a few months old. I also have an adopted larger mix breed who I’ve care for since he was 2 years old. The adopted dog is medicated for anxiety and my terrier is very outgoing, so I know how to manage different dog personalities! I am very careful and friendly with dogs always. I grew up with 2 dogs and my family and friends have pets as well that I have helped care for. I used to babysit frequently in high school and know how to respect and take care of others homes.

Kendall was amazing with our 1 year old dog! We were in town on vacation and our arrangements for our dog during a tour fell through. I came across Kendall on Rover who was willing to meet us outside of where our tour was and take our dog on a walk and hangout with her while my husband I took the tour. This was the first time that we had left our dog with anyone so I was a little nervous, especially being in a city she was unfamiliar with, but Kendall was amazing! When we parted ways our dog was cried out because she thought we were leaving her forever, but Kendall was great about comforting her and redirecting her attention! She took her on a nice long walk and even went to a local park to socialize. Kendall was absolutely amazing! 10/10 recommend!!
Kendall has lived with two dogs (one large and one small) for over ten years now! She loves all dogs and is well-equipped to handle any pet needs. She is also very responsible and dependable, so you can definitely count on her!

I cannot care for pets in my own apartment, as my building is not pet friendly, but I am more than happy to watch your pet at your own home. I have plenty of experience watching and caring for dogs in others homes. I am always very respectful of other peoples spaces and will ensure the home stays clean and cared for.

If there are any special accommodations that I should know about your dog please let me know. I also would like to know if you as the owner are okay with your dog interacting with other dogs on walks or if we should avoid other dogs and just walk by ourselves!
A typical day
I personally love to take walks by the Charles River Esplanade, through the Boston Common and the Fens. I love playing fetch with my dogs at home, but I understand that’s not always every dogs favorite activity. If the owner allows I can find other dogs in these parks for the dog to “meet” and play with for a little while.

I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of available time to walk or hang out with your pet! I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and am open to accepting both one-time and repeating clients!
