Kendal has been my top-choice babysitter/ house-sitter/pet-sitter for the past eight years. As a freshman in high school, she began watching my two-year-old son. He loved spending time with her and I was immediately impressed by her responsible nature, her calm demeanor and her genuine interest in enjoying the time with my son. After the birth of my second son, I slowly introduced Kendal to the responsibilities of caring for an infant. I had her watch the baby alone for a few times and was again amazed at how easily she took to the new situations. Kendal clearly has a great ability to combine her intelligence, common sense and personality to handle stressful situations. Kendal quickly became our go-to-girl and would go above and beyond for our family. She spent nights at our home watching the two boys, two cats, three fish and one lizard. Our entire family trusts her and is very grateful for her help. I have spoken to Kendal on several occasions about school, family and outside activities. She is very grounded and is interested in doing her best in every situation. I have been a professor of microbiology at the university level and know what personalities it takes to succeed. Kendal is one of the most impressive teenagers to meet and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow up.
