Pet care experience
I am a cat owner and lover and would be thrilled to care for your cat. I can do drop-in visits while you are away on weekends (Fridays included). I have always had pets in my home, and volunteered for local humane societies. I also have pet sit for many furry friends through Rover. Not only do I have extensive experience taking care of dogs and cats, but I also understand that pets get lonely and will be sure to spend quality, one-on-one time with them. I know that each pet is unique and has individuals needs, personality traits, and behaviors, and my approach to caring for pets aims to satisfy the individual needs of each pet. Beyond this, I will ensure open lines of communication, timelines and promptness, and high-quality pet care.

Kendal provided a week-long dog/housesitting service for us. She followed our dog-walking instructions, asked clarifying questions when the weather was poor, sent us daily updates with photos and left our house in perfect condition. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that our dog and house were being looked after by someone who is professional, responsible, and very polite. I know how important is is for pets to have a safe, comfortable environment. I ensure first and foremost that the pet’s basic needs are met - food, water, and shelter (like having warm and comfortable places to be). But cats and pets in general also need so much more than that. They need attention, affection, amusement, and exercise, just to name a few. Cats are individualistic animals and I tailor my cat to the respective needs of each cat.

I prefer to know the pet’s name, age, breed, general demeanor, behavior, and preferences, their feeding schedule and diet, and any other special care requirements, such as medication or play needs.
A typical day
I will play with your pets, go on walks (dogs), and tend to any specific dietary needs. I am happy to assist in grooming or brushing, and administering medication if necessary.

Availability
I used to care for animals through Rover on a daily and overnight basis, but now I am a full-time attorney and primarily care for pets through Rover on the weekends (including Fridays). I continue to do Rover because I genuinely enjoy meeting and caring for new furry friends!
