Pet care experience
My pet care experience comes from a life of caring for and training my personal pets. I will treat your dog with all of the love and attention it deserves. I will take a personal interest in making sure your special K9 feels comfortable and has all it's needs met. I work as a graduate student so, aside from office hours 10 hours a week, my schedule is completely flexible. I am available for mid-day "business hours" walks/visits. I can usually do last minute dog sitting/home visits and can set up long term schedules as well. Owners with more complicated pooches should be at ease. I currently have an elderly special-needs dog that I have had for 6 years who needs daily pills, eating accommodations, and suffers from arthritis in her hips and knees. I'm sure I'll be able to take care of whatever your pup needs.

Ken is a great sitter for our doberman mix! She's always very happy to see him, which is a great relief for us as we leave. He is also good with our cats, even the shyest of which tolerates him. We love coming back to a house of well-fed and well-socialized beasts.

Before I sit for a dog I need to know a bit of information about them. How much food do they eat? How much exercise do they need? How much social (human or dogs) interaction do they enjoy? Are they on any medication? Are there any special needs that I should know about? How do you feel about occasional treats to reward good behavior? Are there any behavioral issues I should be aware of or that you want me to work on? For example: barking, food envy, aggression, leash pulling, fear of new people/animals, begging, ect.
A typical day
If I am watching your dog will have the option to walk around my neighborhood, which includes parks, casual walking/biking paths and even an off-leash dog park purrfect (opps wrong type of pet) for fetch. I am also reigning champ at tug-o-war and will take on any 4-legged challengers. They will also be able to spend time with my dog. My dog loves having company, may cuddle with your dog, and will play with other dogs if they initiate it.
