I have been a dog (and cat) person for most of my life. I enjoy their company, and they respond positively to me. I’m an active person and am looking forward to my early retirement so I can get away from the desk and lead an active lifestyle -- walking your dog is part of it!

One issue with Ken, my dogs like him better than me!! Dependable, honest and a good communicator. Highly recommend Ken, he is definitely a dog person.

I've never met a better sitter than Ken! This guy has cat skills like you wouldn't believe. My cat loved him as much as she loves me. Ken made sure my cat had plenty of love and playtime while I was gone - I knew she was in safe, good hands.
Literally the best. Super flexible, could work with my crazy hours. Would highly recommend!

I will be officially retired from the 40 hour work week world starting on the 10th of February, so I will have long stretches of time to walk and play and entertain Gonzo and Purrlin (my dog and cat familiars) as well as guest animals. Your dog can romp around in the house with Gonzo and me, as long as she/he is okay with Purrlin. Your dog can also spend some time in the back yard, as long as a leash line is okay. I will keep close supervision indoor or outdoor, of course, and will go for long walks as often as you (and your dog) would like! I am also a big fan of the Owego and the Johnson City dog parks. As long as we have built the confidence and trust required, I would be glad to go on dog park field trips as well!

A typical day
I like have chats, go for walks through the neighborhood and on the trail down by Choconut, creek, romp around in the house a bit, play fetch, go to the dog parks…..

I am semi retired (don't worry; I am in good shape and have more than enough energy to work with and take care of dogs - of any size!). So, currently my schedule is very flexible.
