I have always owned dogs, and have solely taken care of my own dogs for about eight years - up until the last eight months or so! I am an active person myself, and love to have a companion to keep me company whether we are relaxing or if we are running about outside! There is not dog (or cat, for that matter, to be honest) that I don't immediately love to absolute little pieces.
