We’ve always had family pets growing up and often I would look after my mom’s dogs whilst she was working/away. I still frequently walk them (sometimes 3 at a time! 😅). I currently live alone in a lovely little mid-terrace cottage and I’m now in a position where I work from home Wed-Fri which enables me to offer day/night boarding right through to the weekend if needed 😁. I have a young Whippet (Penny, almost 5) who has opened my eyes into the sighthound world 🥰. I love her to bits and can’t imagine my life without her. In fact, I’m having to convince myself to not get another.. (not yet anyway.. 🙄😜). This is another reason why I want to set up Rover so Penny can have some company and likewise so can your doggy in a nice calm home environment 🐶😇🙏🏻. I’ve come to understand the breed/Whippets in particular would prefer home comforts rather than kennels and would also prefer to have company than being left alone and that’s what brings me to Rover 🤗 Ideally I would prefer to reach out to the sighthound breeds although I would be willing to accept other breeds also. In my life outside of work, I enjoy hiking/exploring the great outdoors and generally anything outdoorsy is my cup of tea.
