Pet care experience
I have had dogs, cats, horses, reptiles throughout my life and love taking care of and being around animals. I even had a Beta fish that lived for over 2 years! I am a surgery fellow, so I know how to administer medication. Growing up, many of my pets had surgeries or procedures so I know how to take care of dogs and cats with extra needs.

Kelsi was amazing. She came to meet the kitties first and when I was away, she kept me up to date every day with detailed info, photos and videos. She went above and beyond, hanging out with the kitties and even watering the catnip plant so they could enjoy it fresh!

Making sure the pet is on a leash and safe distance from other animals (especially puppies that may not have had all of their vaccinations yet). Ensuring the pup/cat gets as many (or as few) cuddles and scratches as they desire. I make sure to leave your pet safely where I found them, for example in their kennel without any plush toys they may be able to destroy and choke on.

A typical day
I like to play hide and seek with dogs, especially ones with a lot of energy! It keeps them active and entertained. I also like to play fetch, play with bubbles, and teach them new tricks. Making sure we get a quick potty break at the beginning of the visit, we will then play or be fed then finish the visit with another trip outside and a drink of water to cool down after being out in the Texas heat (but not too much water so we don't have accidents).

Availability
I am a surgery fellow mostly available on weekends or some random week days, on my days off I have time to spend either being active with the pets or chilling with them so they have company.
