Pet care experience
I have always had hunting dogs growing up and worked with them often, I was a dog bather and then went on to be a lodging facility dog and cat caretaker and also moved up to reception bringing in the animals for their staycations. I would like to be more personal with my animal friends tho and give them all the time they need and deserve. Every animal has their own personality and I’ve come to know many quirks about both dogs and cats.

Kelsey is a natural when it comes to caring for animals. It’s quite literally what she was meant to do. I’ve never met an animal that doesn’t love her or feel comfortable in her presence. She has an incredible loving energy that all animals can feel from her, and they don’t hesitate to love her right back. She cares for all their needs and spoils them with affection. She’s such a responsible young lady and any animal would be extremely lucky to be in her care.

I care for an older dog at home he’s around 13 now and he’s a yellow lab, I take care of him and his hips aren’t as young as they once were so I help him get up stairs and when he can’t get up on his favorite spots. I also care for animals while I babysit that are family dogs, they are German shepherds that have been in a lot of training for being watch dogs but also are still very young and needing to stick with a routine and training words.

It’s important to know if they don’t like being around other dogs or may be dog aggressive or maybe even food aggressive which are both common in dogs and always something you can work around, Another important thing to know would be any special treatments or needs like medications or needing to go potty extra throughout the day. If they have a set schedule that would be wonderful to know also!
A typical day
I love walking with dogs! Walking them can really tell a lot about the dogs personality if you are patient with them and where their interest trails off to. I also like finding out favorite toys and games to play with the dogs I watch and remembering favorite treats keeps a strong bond with any friend.

I want to make all the bookings so I always have a buddy to watch and a consistent schedule but I can usually work with someone’s schedule (I babysit family friends kids when I’m needed also)
