Ready to love your dog.
Pet care experience
I've had dogs most of my life. I have a knack for training and communicating with them, and am often asked by friends for advice with their dogs. I aim to provide an engaging and fun experience for the dogs I care for. I have lots of toys to share, and enjoy walks and adventures in the woods best with a furry friend. If your pal is up for it, I am used to bringing a dog anywhere that will let me - hardware stores, the dog park, out in the woods, and (once I am familiar with the dog) even our office where the staff love to have furry visitors.
Reviews
We dropped our Sadie off to spend the day with Kelsey and she had a great time! Kelsey was easy to communicate with and was very gentle around our dog. We will definitely be using her next time we are in Moncton! Thanks Kelsey!
Kelsey is very knowledgeable and experienced in dog care and training. I have seen her in action many times with our furry friends and she has taught me some great 'tricks' along the way. She will be consistent with your specific instructions as she understands the importance of continued training practices. She is very loving and playful as well in her animal interactions. :) I highly recommend her for your pet care needs.
Kelsey is a very nice person. I booked in my dog for 2 days and he was there for 1 full day, 6 am on the second day Kelsey messaged me saying the dog cried from 2 am on. We left our mini vacation and went to get our dog. I felt like I was very honest with Kelsey about my dogs anxiety and I was very honest that they he has never been away from home. I was disappointed that I paid for 2 full days and Kelsey never offered to reimburse me for the second day.
Kelsey watched my two dogs for the weekend, and they are currently asleep from their adventure. Kelsey sent numerous photo and video updates through the weekend, was prompt to reply to me, and was flexible with pick up time. Will definitely be using her services again.

I have a fenced yard and am set up with a bed, toys, and treats. I don't have a crate but can accommodate one if needed and am familiar with their use. If it is OK with you, I'm a big fan of a good dog cuddle on the furniture. If a dog doesn't have a crate and is being left alone at home, I close all room doors so they only have access to the hall, stairs, living and dining rooms (no access to kitchen, etc.). I will only take dogs that can be confidently left alone at home without issue. I don't currently have a dog of my own, after losing my dog soul mate in early 2023. I had him well trained and socialized, and made sure to give him lots of stimulating activities and love. I would treat your dog the same. Please inform me of any allergies or sensitivities and I'll do my best to accommodate. Please note that I cannot accept any dogs that are destructive when alone, or engage in nuisance barking (the odd playful bark is OK).

Information Kelsey W. would like to know about your pet
Any history of aggression, any behaviour issues, how they do with other animals, any sensitivities (environmental, food, noise, etc.). Do they engage in nuisance barking? Can they settle down by themselves for an hour or two at a time when needed? How do they handle being left alone? How adventurous are they? What are their routines (food, meds, bathroom, etc)? Any endearing quirks that might get me charmed and excited to take care of them? I can work with some things if I know about them, and will let you know if I can't. I ask that you be honest in order to provide the best experience for you, myself, and your pup.
A typical day
Downtown, along the Petitcodiac, Jones Lake, Centennial (trails and dog park) and the Dobson trail are some of my favorite spots for a roam. I have kongs, balls, a teaser pole, and other toys to play with and work on training and building a relationship with your dog. On weekends, we can take it easy or we might end up out in the woods for longer hikes or overnights on my woodlot.

I work full time but can sometimes bring a dog to work with me where your furry friend will get lots of attention and may even come on field work with us to local streams and other natural areas. Please note I'll have to get to know your dog a bit before I can commit to taking them to work. My lifestyle is best suited for dogs that are excited to follow along with my daily activities, can lay down calmly (with a toy if needed) if coming to the office, or could be trusted alone at home without any accidents, destruction of property, or barking as I live in a duplex. Sometimes I spend time in a small cabin I have in the woods. Your dog would be welcome to join me there, and even come canoeing if they are up for it!
