As with most dog lovers, I've adored them since I was a kid, and have had multiple pups since I was nine. I'm very comfortable with large dogs, since those are my favs, and can handle the most energetic types. My own dogs get a mile walk every morning, and a bonus evening walk as needed. I love hitting the trails for a run on the weekends, so that's certainly something I can do with you're active dog!
