Pet care experience
I have lots of animal care experience- especially with pups! The dogs I've cared for have varied widely in breed, age, size, and temperament- and I have loved them all! I get along well with energetic dogs who need walks and playtime! I'd love to take your dog out for some fresh air and exercise- no matter snow, sun, or drizzling rain. I like to meander especially around forest preserves or near the lake, where your dog can get out of the busy & noisy neighborhoods. I have lots of experience with unruly dogs who need to be walked but have issues with encountering other dogs, cars, etc. This is no problem for me. I also have experience caring for nervous or aggressive dogs who bite and loudly bark, and I am not afraid to be around these types of dogs. I love giving dogs baths, belly rubs, and treats! I've always come out of a dogsitting gig with a new best friend. This why I walk and sit pups in my free time- not for money, but because I just love caring for animals! I'll be the fun aunt while you're away at work or on vacation :) I also love sending pet parents daily updates with cute photos and videos. I work only 2-3 days per week, so I am very flexible in setting up hours.

Kelsey took care of my dog, house and flock of laying hens for over 2 weeks. Now my dog likes her better than me. I was impressed with Kelsey the first time we met because she asked good questions, and she rose in my estimation when she texted me the notes from our conversation, listing the items of responsibility. That turned into a sharable Google doc we could both add to. She communicated with me frequently during my trip, sending photos and videos of my animals and asking questions as they came up. She bathed the dog when it became unexpectedly necessary, and took her on real walks even though I just let her run around in the fenced yard. She also left the house cleaner than I did. She is a kind, loving, thoughtful person and my dog looks forward to seeing her again.

I would also like a description of your dog's temperament and friendliness. I am good with affectionate and more unsociable dogs alike, but I would like to know if the dog enjoys being pet, etc.
A typical day
I love going on dog walks around preserves or beaches in the Highland Park and Glencoe Area. I also live down the street from the Ryerson Woods preserve and Bannockburn trails, if your dog is fearful of longer rides in vehicles. It's super fun to play with dog toys! And if you have a quiet, lethargic dog, I also love just cuddling and petting. I let all dogs sleep with me if they choose to!
