I am a very caring and watchful person. I have good attention to detail and just love being around dogs. I am a student and work so I don't find myself ready to own a pooch just yet but would love to hangout on occasion with yours! My dog sitting experience thus far extends to family, friends and acquaintances, sometimes I stay at their homes, and sometimes the dogs visit me and my 2 roommates. We have a mini labradoodle named Judy. She is 10 years old and well trained. Judy is a people pup and doesn't care much about other dogs.We also have a finished basement area if separation is necessary. I love to hike and jog and hope to find a dog that also enjoys being outdoors.

Kelsey has been taking care of my dog Judy for the last few years whenever I've been out of town. I am so grateful for her, and Judy is too! She is great with communication and easy to get in touch with, plus she is very flexible which has helped on occasions when my travel plans have changed suddenly or I've needed her last minute. She takes amazing care of Judy, too, by taking her on long walks and hikes and making sure she is well loved. Finding a reliable dog sitter can be difficult, but Kelsey is a gem!

To put it simply, Kelsey is amazing. She is able to take the most wild and crazy dog (mine) and turn her into an absolute pile of sweet cuddles and kisses- all in the first 15 minutes of meeting her. Not only has Kelsey cared for my dogs multiple times, but I’ve recommended her to many other pet owners for their pet care needs as well. She’s energetic, friendly, punctual, and an all around great person. I can’t recommend her enough!

I would like to know some of your dogs habits (as well as yours). Do you let your dog on your bed or furniture? Are they usually crated while you're away? What are their feeding habits? Free feeding or on a schedule? How do they get along with other dogs or cats? I love big dogs- I would like to own a Bernese Mountain Dog someday. I grew up with a German Shorthair Pointer who was an excellent bird dog. I also cannot resist a cute Corgi butt.
A typical day
I like to run on the waterfront. I work in Sellwood and enjoy that area for walks and jogs. I used to live in SW John's Landing and love to visit the waterfront over there as well. I also enjoy going to Mt. Tabor- both the dog park and walking paths. After meeting your dog a few times I would love to be able to bring them along as a hiking buddy. Forest Park, The Gorge, and The Coast trips will be in order!
