Pet care experience
Our R/V caught fire when I was 16. Not knowing the fire would only nick the corner of our home, I grabbed our two lab mixes. I went out into the gathering crowd and asked someone to help me bring them to a stranger's fenced yard. I waited there until it was safe. I don't have much experience taking care of dogs as an adult. But I love my cat and would respect your pets. I'm detail-oriented, thoughtful, and friendly. I am transitioning between jobs and at present am available Friday through Sunday to come over and take care of your pet. I look forward to meeting each of you!

Kelsey did amazing with our dog Koda. She came over and met him before she started sitting for us and she asked wonderful questions to get to know Koda and us. Kelsey was at the house when she said she would be. She sent me texts and pictures throughout the weekend. When my husband returned from his trip, he said Koda was good and everything in the house was normal. I can't wait to have her dogsit again. It is so nice to have a great dogsitter in Fairbanks.

I have not owned a dog personally for some time, but I am an outdoorsy person who loves her cat and is excited to make some new canine friends. I've had family lab and retriever mixes growing up, and have cared for labs, huskies, and malamutes. I work best with medium-energy dogs that are comfortable having me join them.
A typical day
When on a leash, we would find some nice side streets and check out if there are any public trails nearby. When off the leash, we'd see what kind of games and exercise we both enjoy in the yard or in the home to make sure everyone gets a full workout and is ready for rest at the end of the day.
